A concert on the streets of Washington ended in tragedy Sunday night: a 15-year-old boy was killed, a police officer and two others were injured and a stampede erupted.
As police reported, there were two incidents during the Moechella festival – shots may have been fired. The local situation was very opaque, it said.
Finally, the event, which was not approved according to police information, was disbanded. This then culminated in mass panic: one participant described the situation on Twitter: “There was a shooting or something like that. I’ve never walked and jumped on such people in my life.”
Although not much is known about the background, it has now been determined that all four victims were hit with the same weapon. The injured are still being treated in hospitals.
