At least 26 people have been killed and another 144 injured in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli attacks on various points in Lebanon, according to the assessment provided by the Lebanese Health Ministry on Saturday.
The same source detailed that 17 deaths and 62 injuries were recorded in southern Lebanon; three dead and 41 injured in Nabatieh (a town about 73 kilometers south of Beirut); one dead and 22 injured in Baalbek (86 kilometers east of Beirut); and five dead and 19 injured in Hermel (143 kilometers north of Beirut).
The ministry said in a statement published in X that “there have been 2,255 martyrs and 10,524 wounded since the start of the aggression” in Lebanon.
More than two weeks ago, the Israeli army launched an offensive with a brutal bombing campaign against southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, known as Dahye.
