Germans fled – trio in Innsbruck spat on and threatened with knife

Excitement on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of Innsbruck! Three Germans living in Tyrol were first spat at several times by an unknown man and then threatened with a knife. The police are now looking for witnesses.

The unpleasant incident took place on Sunday around 3:40 p.m. near the Fallmerayerstrasse/Anichstrasse intersection in Innsbruck. For unknown reasons, the three Germans living in Innsbruck, aged between 21 and 25, were spat at and threatened with a knife by an unknown man.

Search without success
“According to the victims, the perpetrator took the knife from a paper bag that he had with him,” police said. When the man ran towards them with the knife in his hand, the trio fled. “The search that was immediately launched at the crime scene was unsuccessful,” the director said.

The previously unknown perpetrator is approximately 50 years old and approximately 1.80 meters tall and has a light complexion, short gray hair and an unkempt appearance. He was wearing light jeans and a light long-sleeved vest.
