Horror movie scenes set on Friday night in a highway parking lot in Krenglbach (Upper Austria): Two hooded men attacked a couple sleeping in the car.
Two Moldovan nationals, a 49-year-old and her 63-year-old partner, drove their cars to car park 18 of the A8, Oberham Nord, Krenglbach district, around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, in the direction of Passau. Both then slept in the vehicle, which was locked from the inside.
Perpetrator stabbed in the band
At about 5:55 a.m., an unknown assailant stabbed the right front tire of the parked car, then smashed the right windshield with an unknown object, reached over the woman in the passenger seat and stole the leather handbag that was held between the front seats. It contained cash in three different currencies, two passports, an ID card, an ATM and a mobile phone.
Only lasted a few seconds
The act took place within seconds and the perpetrators fled in a car parked to the right of the victim’s vehicle with the engine running. The two victims could only give a vague description of the perpetrator. Both perpetrators probably pulled a hood over their heads. The damaged vehicle was towed to an auto repair shop. The total damage amounts to several thousand euros.
