Authorities in Washington state have reported two deaths from the storm so far. Accordingly, a woman was killed by a fallen tree in a homeless camp. Another woman died in her home when a tree fell on the building.

More than 350,000 people in the west coast states of Washington and California were without power on Wednesday evening (local time), according to the website Poweroutage.us. Gusts of wind toppled electricity poles and trees, and heavy rain led to flooding.
Warning for mudslides and snow
Dozens of flights have been canceled at San Francisco airport. Authorities warned of possible mudslides and massive snowfall in the mountainous areas (photo above). According to forecasts, the storm is expected to last until the weekend.
