Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko has expressed outrage after learning that an impostor impersonated his identity in videoconferencing with several European counterparts who abused digital face-changing technology DeepFake
“That is criminal We urgently need to investigate who is behind this,” Klitschko said in a video shared by the German newspaper Bild.
“This impostor has said nothing but absurd things,” added the mayor, whose doppelganger has contacted the mayor of Berlin, among other things, Franziska Giffeyor with the mayor of Madrid, Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida
Both mayors broke off the conversation when it began to take unusual paths. “The impostor asked us for advice to organize the Pride parade,” German Mayor Lisa Frerichs spokeswoman recalled. “It seemed quite strange to us in the middle of the war,” he added.
