Wild scenes took place late on Friday afternoon on the Innpromenade in Kufstein, Tyrol: a pedestrian (48) was confronted by a stranger urinating in the river, whereupon he completely panicked and brutally attacked the passer-by. The “wild puddle” fled with a companion. The police are hoping for clues.
The brazen attack took place around 5 p.m. The 48-year-old marched along the Innpromenade from the Endach district towards the city center of Kufstein. A white van suddenly stopped at a student dormitory. Two men got out, one of whom urinated from the sidewalk in the inn.
“The 48-year-old asked the man if this was absolutely necessary. After a brief conversation, the unknown man grabbed the local man, pulled him to the ground and kicked him in the head several times,” police said, describing the brutal scenes.
Escaped in a van
The two men then got back into the van and took off. The victim, who suffered significant injuries as a result of the attack, went straight to the Kufstein police station and filed a report. So far there is no trace of the brutal attacker.
Researchers are hoping for clues
The perpetrator is about 30 years old, 1.80 meters tall and spoke a Tyrolean dialect. He wore white or gray work clothes and a cap. Investigators are hoping for the public’s help in identifying the attacker.
