Since February this year, investigators have set their sights on a 25-year-old man from Linz who is said to have dealt in various types of drugs. Instead of Santa Claus, law enforcement officers showed up at the door of the alleged dealer’s apartment on December 6, but he ran away instead of opening the door.
When the police wanted to execute the arrest warrant from the Linz Public Prosecutor’s Office, the 25-year-old from Linz did not open the apartment door. The officers used a ram to gain entry, with the suspect jumping out of a second-floor window.
Medicines worth more than 50,000 euros
But the police were already waiting for him downstairs and he was arrested with minor injuries. A large quantity of addictive substances was seized from his apartment, including a kilo of methamphetamine and amphetamine, approximately 11 grams of heroin and 700 grams of cocaine – which alone probably has a street value of more than 50,000 euros.
