Spectacular accident on Friday evening at “Telfer Berg” in the Tyrolean Oberland: a 17-year-old novice driver lost control of his car before a right bend, after which it crashed into a rock wall. The driver and his passenger of the same age were injured.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. The 17-year-old resident was driving his car on Möserer Straße (L36) from Seefeld towards Telfs when he lost control before a right bend.
“According to the driver, the car understeered just before the bend and continued straight. The vehicle then crashed into the rock wall there,” police said.
The driver and passenger were taken to hospital
The force of the impact caused the car to spin 180 degrees before coming to a stop, badly damaged. The driver and his 17-year-old passenger were injured and were taken by ambulance to the clinic in Innsbruck after receiving first aid at the scene of the accident.
