The tragedy surrounding little Isabella (2) shocked the whole of England: the girl was beaten to death by her mother’s partner because she had difficulty toilet training.
The girl’s body was then pushed through the streets of Ipswich in a pram. The mother and her boyfriend laughed, went shopping and visited a pub as if nothing had happened.
Isabella’s ordeal began last year when mum Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell and her boyfriend Scott Jeff wanted to toilet train the toddler.
But because Isabella was having problems, Scott Jeff lost his patience. The 24-year-old broke numerous bones in the little girl. The child died as a result of serious injuries.
Now the couple has been convicted by the court. The man has to go to prison for 26 years, the mother ten years.
