A high-ranking Russian military representative was killed in an explosion in the Russian capital, authorities said.
As two Russian military officers left a residential building on Ryazan Prospekt on Tuesday morning, a loud bang suddenly sounded. The Russian Investigative Committee announced that an explosive device had been detonated in the southeast of the capital. The commander of Russian forces tasked with defending against attacks with radioactive, biological and chemical weapons, Igor Kirillov, and his deputy were killed.
