Threatened doctor: ‘I hardly dare to let the dog out’

Date:

Worn by death threats, the doctor is at the end. Now she closed her practice on the Attersee – maybe even forever. And the doctor is also private and hardly dares to go outside.

“I lasted for seven months. Now it doesn’t work anymore. I’m at the end. Also financially” – in Seewalchen Dr. Lisa-Maria Kellermayr left her general practice due to threats from the corona measures and the anti-vaccination scene. And I don’t know if she will ever unlock again. “I am facing a private bankruptcy,” said the doctor, who became known last year for her successful treatment of Covid patients with an asthma spray, in the “Krone” interview.

The recorded voice, which previously inquired about the ordination times, now says: “Due to the ongoing threat situation, the ordination remains closed until further notice.”

‘I’ve decided to catch you. I will also slaughter all the staff in the operating room’ – such and similar threats worried the doctor, but she felt misunderstood by the police: ‘We were promised extensive police protection, but only the practice was patrolled more intensively. Every now and then officers would look in and ask if everything was okay.”

The management confirms two threats from November 2021 and 4 April 2022 (a handwritten threatening letter she submitted has disappeared, according to Kellermayr) and the public prosecutor of Wels was investigating a German. The case was dropped on June 14 “for lack of national jurisdiction”.

Four knives removed in the consecration
“I’ve hired private security people, we got a security lock, panic buttons installed, all employees got pepper spray,” says the doctor, who has invested more than $100,000 in security.

There was no major attack, but four butterfly knives were taken from patients. And after the threat of being watched, the next day a man stood in front of Kellermayr’s operating room and took pictures inside. “I hardly dare to go outside anymore, I let others walk the dog,” the doctor says, but she wants to continue paying her employees’ salaries until she’s broke.
