Five injured after a pile-up on the snow-covered road Friday on the B 38 between Bad Leonfelden and Vorderweißenbach (Upper Austria). There was an emergency vehicle in the middle. The medic had braked in time, but then another driver came between him.
On Friday around 10:30 am, a 75-year-old from the Rohrbach district drove his car along the B 38 from Bad Leonfelden towards Vorderweißenbach. In the municipality of Vorderweißenbach, the driver had to drive slower due to traffic.
The car skidded
During winter driving conditions, a 47-year-old motorist from the Freistadt district hit the rear of the 75-year-old with the left front of his car, causing him to skid.
The driver wanted to drive by
Another 48-year-old motorist from the Urfahr-Raum district drove her vehicle on the right past the vehicles that had already been involved in an accident. While she was driving, another 49-year-old driver from Lower Austria touched her buttocks. When the first car swerved, the truck, which was traveling in the opposite lane, was rammed into its left front side.
The car hit the emergency vehicle
An oncoming vehicle was able to brake in time and came to a stop behind the truck. Then a 61-year-old from the Rohrbach district drove and was unable to stop her vehicle in time. That’s why she rode into the back of the emergency vehicle.
