A 37-year-old woman in Leoben (Styria) suffered a mysterious attack on Monday evening: an unknown man grabbed her by the neck and pulled her to the ground. The Styrian defended itself successfully. But who was the culprit?
The 37-year-old left the apartment on Proleber Strasse only briefly on Monday to get something in the car. When she returned to the door of her apartment, a man suddenly grabbed her neck from behind and pulled her to the floor. The woman from Leobner, however, defended herself vigorously and managed to free herself. The attacker then fled.
The woman suffered minor head and neck injuries. Her daughter, who was in the apartment, was unaware of the attack. It is still unclear what the perpetrator wanted. Nothing was stolen and according to police there is no apparent sexual motive.
Description of the perpetrator
The police are now looking for the perpetrator. He would be between 30 and 40 years old and between 170 and 175 centimeters tall. He was of normal build and, according to the victim, had three days’ stubble and was wearing a black hooded jacket, cap and gloves.
