“We were very good friends. Only four weeks ago at a wedding together”, Manuel Müller also struggles with the completely unexpected death of Alexander F. As reported, the 42-year-old was at home in Marchtrenk in the kitchen on June 14 for his little ones. Daughter collapsed and died.
The widow and three children have missed him every day since. With a benefit run, Müller, who is known in Traun as a freelance fitness coach, wants to offer the family a good helping hand, at least when it comes to financial worries: “It’s not about speed, but about 100 percent cooperation and doing something good. There will be friendly runs together that everyone can participate in, even if you don’t run regularly.”
Everyone can help
“The entry fee for the run is 10 euros. The money then goes to the family to at least make the situation a little easier for them, despite the indescribable pain,” he hopes for many participants. The meeting point is on July 15 at 6 pm at the sports park Obermayr in Ansfelden. “A friend of mine can’t run herself, but she gave me 20 euros as a donation. The solidarity is enormous,” says Müller.
