Climate activists disrupted a theater performance with Hollywood star Sigourney Weaver (75) in London. The American actress is currently playing in a staging by William Shakespeare’s “The Storm”.
On Monday evening, two activists from the Just Stop Oil Group came on stage, as the British news agency PA reported.
A one ignited
The demonstrators criticized a global shipwreck on a banner, global warming of more than 1.5 degrees. They also illuminated a confetti manon, as can be seen on a video that the group published. Weaver (“Avatar”, “Alien”) was taken off the stage by helpers.
