The refusal of Confabask prevents the table from negotiating a minimum wage in Euskadi

Ela, Lab, CCOO and UGT have agreed to express their rejection of the employer’s attitude for not accepting or forming the table. In the meantime, Confbask has pointed out that its own SMI in Euskadi would jeopardize the competitiveness and the sustainability of companies.

The refusal of ConfaSkask to negotiate an interprofessional agreement to set a salary of a minimum agreement in Euskadi has prevented them from in the Labor Relations Council (CRL), in Bilbao, the negotiating table, as reported by participants in the meeting, prevent.

The start -up of that table was requested by ELA, Lab, CCOO and UGT, and Confordash agreed to go to the meeting that was asked in the chest of the CRL on Thursday.

The meeting started past eleven in the morning and was completed for minutes for half of the afternoon without the table being formed by the refusal of the confesbask.

At the end of the meeting, all trade unions agreed to express their rejection of the attitude of the employer with which they had been very critical of not accepting or forming the table.

Van Confalkask indicated in a later statement that they have transferred their refusal to form a specific table to set up their own SMI in Euskadi, ‘by endangering the competitiveness and sustainability of Baskian companies to take.’
