An e-bike tour for a German (48) ended on Wednesday in the hospital on the Zillergrund in Brandenberg in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz. During an overtaking maneuver, the man fell and ended up in the stream bed. The “Heli 4” rushed to help.
The accident happened around 2:45 p.m. As part of a guided cycling group, the 48-year-old rode his e-bike out of the valley on the Zillergrundweg. “Shortly after the man was overtaken by another cyclist, he left the road on the right for unknown reasons,” police said.

As a result, the German fell two meters into a stream bed. He sustained serious injuries to his right arm. The cyclist who caught up with him gave first aid and called 112. The 48-year-old was flown to Schwaz Hospital by emergency doctor helicopter “Heli 4”.
