The Viennese theater maker Sara Ostertag put an staging of “The Broken Circle”, a piece about a child who has suffered cancer, in the Linz Chamber Games. For her it is much more than a story: she is a mother who is struck by herself. In the “Krone” interview, Easter Day describes the great fear of losing a child -what gave her. And she knows what theater can do in this taboo subject.

Viennese director Sara Ostertag organized Chamber Games “The Broken Circle” in the Linz, a piece about a child and his parents who came to leukemia. Easter found photos that come under the skin, we reported on the premiere. But for them the piece is not only a story, but a reality: her daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of two and a half years.

In the “Krone” interview, Easter Day describes how she deals with the disease as a mother and what the staging means.
