The local ban on this Welser is sure to be extended at his favorite pub. He pulled out a gun on Saturday night and threatened those present with murder.
The 34-year-old from Wels entered the Irish Pub in the center of Wels at 3am on Saturday to have drinks. The 31-year-old waitress pointed out to the “regular” that he had been banned from the bar, whereupon the suspect pulled out a gun and threatened to kill the waitress and the guests present.
However, another guest showed courage, brought the unwanted guest to the ground, disarmed him and held him until the police arrived. The suspect was arrested and the gun, which turned out to be a gas-fired weapon, was seized.
An investigation found that there is a valid gun ban against the 34-year-old. When the man was taken to the downtown police station, he also threatened officials.
