They were dramatic, but also very dangerous scenes that took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Innsbruck airport. Half an excited man conquered the security gate, stormed on the rollerveld – and then directly to a passenger machine. The Speedster was arrested. The next day the “Krone” learned further details from the police.
It was a bumpy start for the passengers of the Transavia flight to Eindhoven, which was planned at 2 p.m. While the Boeing 737 rolled to the runway, the pilot broke the machine abruptly. A half -naked man had illegal access to the airport area by getting the approximately three -meter -high security fence.
As is known, the scenes were recorded by a tipaulin -spotty who turned to the “crown” after the incident. “I saw the man storms at the airport and pressing the tractor,” said the eyewitness.
Security, fire brigade, the police moved
In his photos you can see how the man storms the upper body over the site – directly to the passenger machine. What followed was a real chase with vehicles from the security service, the fire brigade and the police! The man can finally be arrested.
It is a 20-year-old Bulgarians, as the spokesperson for the Police Christian Viehweider explains on Thursday morning about the demand for “Krone”. The suspect had behaved “extremely aggressively” while arresting. He tried to push the police away.
Investigated at the police station by Doctor
The Rabating Speedster was brought directly to the police of the airport. However, he could not be interviewed there. Instead, he was examined there by a doctor. “This stated a mental state of emergency with the suspect,” says Viehweider.
Admitted to psychiatry
The 20-year-old was then taken to the Innsbruck clinic. In psychiatry. Further investigations follow. It is reported on suspicion of the intentional risk for the safety of aviation and for attempted resistance to the state power.
By the way: in the end the machine only lifted with a small delay after Eindhoven. Without further incidents!
