The Swedish entrepreneur Carl Lundström died on Monday when a small plane crashed in Slovenia. According to the media, the 64-year-old financier of internet exchange was known as the Piratenbaai in Sweden as a supporter of right-wing populist and right-wing extremist movements and parties.
The newspaper “Expressions” described Lundström as “Right -Wing Extremist”, the alternative party for Sweden called him “Legend and veteran of Swedish nationalism”.
Lundström was on the road from Zagreb to Switzerland on Monday when his small plane crashed in bad weather in northern Slovenia and collapsed on a mountain hut on the Highland Velika Planina. As a pilot he was the only person on board. The rescue workers could only restore his body from the destroyed hut on Tuesday.
Swedish reports confirm identity
Until now, the Slovenian police have only confirmed that the fatally crashed pilot is a Swedish citizen. No further information was given about his identity. In the meantime, Swedish media reported that it was Lindström. This was also confirmed by the correct extremist alternative to Sweden in his death notice on its website.
Lundström was the heir of the Swedish Crispread -Rijk Wasabröd, which the family sold to the Swiss pharmaceutical company Sandoz in the 1980s. The businessman was, among other things, the owner of the telecommunication company Rix Telecom, whose technical services had made the Internet Exchange possible. In 2009 he was convicted of copyright infringement together with the founders of the Pirate Bay.
Circles in right -wing extremists have been for decades
Lundström has moved to anti -immigration and right -wing extremists for decades, writes “Expresses”. In the 1980s he was a member of the right -wing extremist movement Bevara Sverige Svenskt (Sweden should remain Swedish), from which the Swedish Democratic party later appeared. Over the years he financed various right -wing extremists. In 2021 he ran for the alternative to Sweden in a church election.
According to reports, Lundström emigrated to Switzerland in 2008 and lived between Switzerland and Croatia in recent years. It is said that he has established a trading platform for cryptocurrencies in Adrialand.
