Roads under water – Floods in southern Spain demanded two dead

Heavy rainfall holds large parts of Spain and the neighboring land of Portugal. At least two people died in floods in South Spanish regions. In Madrid, the bullfighting arena and various districts were under water.

Previously, the flooding of a local river railway had created. As a precaution, in Toledo south of Madrid, emergency services created a dike in a hospital for Parapegie that is close to a river. In other cities, rivers threatened to step over the banks. Roads were located locally, schools and universities remained.

Initially there were no reports of larger evacuations. The authorities had warned to leave cars and called on to stay at home if possible. Many reservoirs were so busy for as long. Spain finally suffered from drought. Since the beginning of the month, the other sunny country has been chased by rain. Meteorologists and meteorologists speak in a row about the fourth low pressure area.

Different injuries in Portugal
In the neighboring land of Portugal, strong wind, uprooted trees caused. Several people were injured. The National Sea Empire Authority (AMN) and the Navy warned of a “significant deterioration” of the weather at sea between Friday evening and Saturday. There was also a rough lake for the northwest coast of Spain.

Rain, considerably cooler temperatures for this season and even snow at larger heights are expected until Tuesday.
