Aggressive mobsters – passersby assisted in arrest in Dornbirn

Date:

The police had to arrest two gangsters at Dornbirn (Vorarlberg) train station on Monday. However, they strongly resisted the official act – some passers-by helped the officials.

At 9:20 p.m. Monday evening, police were informed that a drunken man approached and even physically assaulted passers-by at Dornbirn train station. When the alarmed police patrol arrived, a security guard pointed out the 33-year-old troublemakers.

Even when checking on the man, he behaved aggressively. He verbally insulted the officers and refused to reveal his identity. Since the 33-year-old did not want to stop his behaviour, the officers had no choice but to arrest him.

Pepper spray worked
However, that did not go down well with a 30-year-old man who was present. He interfered loudly in the official act and tried to avoid arrest. Because of this man’s aggressiveness, one of the officers used pepper spray against the 30-year-old.

That had an immediate effect. With the help of other officers, it was finally possible to handcuff the enraged man. Both detainees were then escorted to Dornbirn Police Station.

with the help of citizens
Curious detail: When the unruly man was arrested, the two police officers who intervened first were actively and helpfully supported by courageous passers-by. They are now requested to contact the Dornbirn Police Inspectorate.
