Complaints of strong rule and bleeding, as well as pain in urination, bowel movements or sex are just a few symptoms that indicate endometriosis – a benign but chronic disease. 10 to 15 percent of all women and girls in Austria receive this diagnosis, the number of non -reported cases is probably higher, partly because problems in the period are still bravely considered “normal”.
