Criticism after train accident with 57 dead
There is constant criticism of the Hellenian train. A good two years ago, 57 people died in a serious train accident in Central Greece. At that time, an intercity train collided head-on with a freight train. The investigations of the accident are still underway.
Numerous members of the victims and political parties accuse the railway company and the conservative government of the neglect of the rail system.
