On the second day of his trip to Malta, Pope Francis celebrated mass for thousands of people and called for prayers for Ukraine. “Let us pray for peace and remember the humanitarian tragedy of the tortured Ukraine,” the head of the Roman Catholic Church said Sunday in Floriana – a suburb of the capital Valletta – at the end of mass.
