An animal obligation used the fire brigade and water rescue on the Tyrolean Achensee on the weekend. A calf had jumped in the nearly ten degree cold water, had packed itself in a boat house and was only difficult to get from there.
A farmer had asked for help from the emergency services: one of his calves had to be saved from the Achensee. The animal, which was about a year old, was previously built by a nearby pasture, crossed the street and jumped in the Achensee. Incidentally, the water is not yet ten degrees hot …
The young animal apparently had chosen the place of the Wassser Rescue Schwaz/Achensee, where it “deep -rooted” in the boatshuis that was about one meter deep.
Kalf arrived intact on the coast
Together, the water rescue and the fire brigade managed to hang the calf with a rope and put the calf safely on the coast, where it could be transferred to the owner. The assignment was completed after about an hour.
