His heart beats for the bees – that’s why the Waldviertel beekeeping pioneer Dr. Ernst Brandl now for foreign artificial honey.
Millions of bees are currently flying from blossom to blossom in the idyllic Waldviertel village of Krumau, but also in the heart of the Tullnerfeld to give us valuable honey. None other than the top Viennese lawyer Dr. Ernst Brandl, who has successfully filed multi-million dollar lawsuits for several banks, holds his protective hand over the Sumsis and Majas. Because as a bee paradise, he has leased tens of hectares of fields from uninhibited farmers.
But now the producer of the honey “MIËLO” is concerned about a terrible development. Because sterile artificial honey was developed in Israeli labs without bees, which apparently need to be replaced, which could soon confuse consumers on a large scale.
Dramatic development
“Without the multifaceted diversity of our beneficial insects, there will be much less fruit in nature. 80 percent of all plants depend on pollination,” Brandl sees a dramatic development.
