Curious, but Brenzliger incident in the Dutch city of Lemmer: a folding bridge went up, although there were still vehicles on it. The authorities investigate the incident.
A spokesperson for the Authority for the Construction and Maintenance of Streets and Waterweg (Rijkswaterstate) confirmed the accident: “We were very shocked and are very happy that no one was injured.”
The bridge leads over the canal of the Sylroed. Although this was still used by cars, it was folded: a truck and a car then stuck because the back of the two cars was raised.

On the video, which was apparently recorded by the truck driver, you can hear this curse: “You have heard me and another vehicle on this … bridge” he complains. “You just didn’t prevent it. You just couldn’t stop the bridge,” this is stunned.
