More intensive diplomatic efforts
The diplomatic efforts to end the war had been strengthened in recent weeks. However, the first direct encounter between representatives of Russia and Ukraine for three years in mid -May in Istanbul has not made any progress in the direction of a ceasefires -the fire. Only a prisoner exchange was agreed that has already taken place.
