Police officers like a Savior – “When the baby sweats, he had to go quickly”

Date:

On the first day of heat, police officers in Bergheim (Salzburg) with 30 degrees were life -resistant. A mother accidentally blocked her baby and the key in the car. The sun was already burning on the roof when inspector Philip Schattauer hit the disc and put an end to the nightmare.

The nightmare of all parents happened late Saturday morning with a mother in Bergheim! Her baby was already in the passenger seat of the car when she accidentally locked it with the key – of all things on the first day of heat with 30 degrees Celsius!

Mother was in a panic
“We drove on a patrol when we saw a woman in a parking lot who took place and ran to us,” says police inspector Philip Schattauer. Because: your car was in the sun, the temperature came in quickly and her baby was caught.

“My colleague, Janette Pointecker, immediately calmed the lady while I thought of how we can get the best and the baby in the car.”

Difficult dedication
Because the baby was not in the car for a minute when the police arrived, Schatauer first tried to get the window with glue band – in vain.

“When we saw the first sweat beads on the baby’s forehead, things had to go quickly,” said the Savior in Nood. His colleague David Zirnitzer had a suitable tool in the commercial vehicle and then hit the left window.

Baby unharmed
“It is important that the baby is as far away as possible from the disc. Those who destroy it do not matter,” the police officer said modestly. In this case everything went smoothly. The baby was completely unharmed. “Only the mother has blamed. But that can happen to anyone.”
