Tragic accident early Monday evening in Tyrolean Inzing (Innsbruck-Land district): A 76-year-old motorcyclist is believed to have fallen due to a medical emergency and crashed into a tree. After the local rescue service was taken to the Innsbruck clinic, he succumbed to his serious injuries.
The accident happened just after 5.30pm: The 76-year-old Tyrolean was riding his motorcycle in Inzing on the L11 towards Innsbruck when he went straight on the right side of the road through no fault of his own – probably hitting the tree due to a medical emergency.
After CPR in the clinic
“The injured person was then resuscitated by rescuers and the emergency physician and taken to the Innsbruck clinic for further treatment,” the researchers said. On Tuesday morning, police reported that the pensioner had sadly passed away.
