The ex-member of the state parliament and former mayor of Schartner, Jürgen Höckner, is trying to get through the most difficult time of his life with songwriting. After his song for his wife, the ex-politician now turns to the “Narcissist Queen”.
The ÖVP politician, who had not been legally sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for rape and sexual harassment, dedicated the song “Fels in der Surfen” to his wife on their 30th wedding anniversary in early May. The ballad-form confession of love is a hit on YouTube (see video below).
Text and title fictitious
Now number two is in the can. The publication is planned for the coming days. Höckner does not want to reveal too much. The video with him in one of the main roles should be even more professional. “In the song ‘The Narcissist Queen’ I deal with the subject of narcissism.” Both the title and the text are fictitious and do not refer to specific persons.
Ex-politician has always maintained his innocence
Some people may question this statement. The song can certainly be taken as a reckoning. It sounds like Höckner is singing himself in the victim role – in which he saw himself during the procedure. The rape allegations are the intrigue of a self-centered person (typical of narcissists). Höckner said, “Time will tell whether it is easier to go to prison for many years innocently or to live the rest of your life with the certainty that you have existentially destroyed a person.”
