The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) pointed out that the annual shopping cart in the state it will be, in this 2022, 830 euros more expensive than in 2021. This assumes an average price increase of the products of the 15.2%sunflower oil, muffins and margarine top the list of products whose price has risen the most, at 118%, 75.4% and 75.2% respectively.

– Wheat flour, 49.7%

To the products that have fallen in price the most (only 13 of the 238 products analyzed by the OCU have done so), they are these:

– Avocados, 9.6%

– Kiwis, 5.5%

– Apples, 4.8%

– Cauliflower, 3.7%

– Oranges, 1.5%

– Feeding cocks, 1.1%

– Garlic, which keeps its price

Overall, this is the largest price increase recorded in the studies of the OCU, which has warned that in the short term there is no indication that the situation will change, and it is likely that the prices of some products in the coming months; In this way, he urges the government of Spain to take “firm and decisive measures”, including temporarily suspending energy taxes, starting the inflation spiral, and, on the other hand, increasing aid to all families to cope with rising prices.
