Many connoisseurs always have swears in wine bottles on natural corks. But there are other “plugs” for beautiful drops – from screw caps to plastic cork to glass corks. Nobody is perfect. Which variant is preferred? A current study of the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences came to the bottom of the gastro scene.
Kork has been estimated since ancient times as a closure of bottles. Nowadays the natural product collects plus points because it is biodegradable. “From the experience of centuries, humanity knows that Cork can remain elastic and tasteless for a long time,” the experts know. This closure has style for purists among the vinophile connoisseurs. In the case of incorrect storage, however, unpleasant odors can get into the wine, for example through cleaning products.
