After being sentenced to life in France, Salah Abdeslam, the sole survivor of the 2015 Paris attacks, has been extradited to Belgium for a new terror trial. After the trial in Belgium, which starts in October, he must serve his sentence in France. But he was later able to apply to be transferred to a prison in Belgium, where he grew up and where his family lives.
