In the night of Tuesday there was a big burglary in an office in the center of Vienna: a 34-year-old man would split a key-safe atmosphere and then stolen two laptops and 46 tablets with a total value of around 15,000 euros.
Fortunately, an employee (50) managed to find two of the devices – the signal then led the alarmed researchers to Austria.
Escape attempt failed
A short time later, the burglar could be traced in a nearby hotel. When the emergency services arrived, the man tried to flee and left several bags. The police gave warning shots and the man was able to arrest shortly afterwards.
Discovered countless stolen objects
In the bags left, the researchers not only found the two laptops and all 46 tablets stolen, but also claimed further thieves and various burglary tools.
According to the police, the man must also be responsible for further burglaries – the investigation is underway. The 34-year-old refused to say. He was taken to a prison.
