Authorities Dawning – Young Mother has been waiting for a children’s advantage for months

If a child is suddenly in the house, it can be stressful for the parents. In the case of Agnes Lively and her husband, the financial burden has made things worse, because no childcare has been received in her account since the birth of her daughter in January.

She describes the “Kroon” that she submitted the application for support during maternity leave at the end of January. She has been in parenthood since the beginning of March, but she has not received any money so far. Because she wants to share parental leave with her husband, there were changes to the application. There were ambiguities when choosing the variant.

“No answer from the Ögk -Hotel”
“However, I quickly responded to all the questions of the Ögk, but then you took feedback for a few weeks,” says the new mother. This went so far that the Viennese accidentally found out that she is no longer insured. “I have tried several times to get an answer from the Ögk hotline,” said the legal scholar.

Criticism comes from the FPö boss van Vienna, Dominik Nepp: “Because of the inflation of recent years, many families have a hard time paying their monthly bills. Such a delay is unreasonable.” The ÖGK explains the facts as follows: “The application from Mrs. Libisch was processed in Vienna, that of Mr Libisch in Vorarlberg. Internally the desired variant had to be clarified with colleagues in Vorarlberg.”

The good news for the parents: “The payment has started and the notification sent by post,” says the Ögk.
