Parents in England had a nightmare. When they parked in front of a relative’s house in the northeastern English village of Quarrington Hill on Wednesday evening, their car was stolen right in front of them. Another car stopped, a man jumped out, climbed into the car and drove off. The daughter (2) and the cat of the family were still in the vehicle.
The child’s parents were unloading their groceries when the accident happened. A family member stood by the car but was unable to prevent the theft.
Fortunately, the stolen vehicle was soon found a few miles away – the child was unharmed. However, the house cat, who was also in the car, is missing. The thief and his accomplices are wanted.
