The Italian food group AIA pointed out on Thursday that the poultry sausages of the WUDY and PAVO brands must be heated before consumption, which is also stated on the packaging. Germs (Listeria monocytogenes) were detected in individual packages.
These products with a sell-by date of November 20, 2022 can be returned at the place of purchase, even without a receipt. The germs would be reliably rendered harmless if prepared according to the instructions (“warm through before consumption”), as all products comply with legal standards.

“Because we take our responsibility very seriously and take all eventualities into account, the parties involved with an expiration date of November 30, 2022 have been removed from sale as a precaution,” said the manufacturer.
