Brand alarm in Graz – Professional Fire Brigade saves the unconscious woman from the balcony

Brand alarm on Sunday evening in an apartment on Bessemergasse in Graz. There was a fire brigade break for an unknown cause. An unconscious 32-year-old had to be saved from the balcony by the professional Fire Brigade.

At 8:20 pm the alarm went in the Graz Professional Fire Brigade: a fire had broken out in an apartment on the first floor in Bessemergasse. The fire led to a strong smoke in the apartment and the stairs were also used to smoke massively, the fire brigade said.

Woman saved herself on the balcony
The 32-year-old resident was able to save himself on the balcony, but unknowingly collapsed. With the help of the sliding ladder, the woman was saved and transferred to the Red Cross for further care.

A total of seven vehicles and 27 men from the Professional Fire Brigade were deployed. The cause of the fire is still the subject of police investigation.
