Austria -Teruger Manprit Sarkaria wants to celebrate success with Violet. The 28-year-old looks back on his time in China and with Meister Sturm Graz. In his ex-club he had new experiences on the street.
From Hong Kong to Doha before he finally landed in Vienna after 19 hours. “The journey was very long, but still pleasant,” laughs Manprit Sarkaria. Who returned to Wiener Austria after four years. “This is my home club, I grew up here,” the 28-year-old shone. That made a relaxed impression on the first day in the training camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf on Monday. Sarkaria has a lot to do with Violet. “The team played around the championship last season until the final round. This is of course not. Especially if you have to stand against Salzburg or Sturm. My hunger for a title is huge!” Speaking of storm: Sarkaria greatly successful with the grazers, once mastered and twice per cup winner. “I really want to experience it again with Austria.”
