At least three people miss after violent storms in a mountain village in southern New Mexicos. Strong monsoons had caused the floods of Autumn on Tuesday that were so strong that even an entire house was flushed downstream.
Lynn Crawford, the mayor of Ruidoso, spoke in a local radio station with gas leaks, mudsmiths and bridges under water.
Recordings from the Mountain Village show how the water masses even wear an entire house (see X -contribution below).
Dozens of people were saved from the floods, Crawford said. Several people are in the hospital.
Referring to Crawford, NBC reported that three people are also missing. In the first instance, nothing is known about the dead, quoted the “New York Times”.
109 dead in Texas confirmed
Only a few days ago a devastating stream of waterfalls took place in the state of Texas. In the worst affected district of Kerr alone, the authorities registered missing people until Tuesday 161, as the Governor of Texas Greg said. The number of confirmed fatalities is now 109. New rains have made the search difficult.
Among the 94 confirmed fatalities in Kerr are at least 27 participants and supervisors of Camp Mystic. Five girls and a supervisor were missing on Tuesday evening, as Abbott said.
