Fear from Alpine accident on Friday in Matrei in East -Tirol! A mountaineering group from the Czech Republic rose to the Badener Hütte. When the group wanted to turn around, a woman (26) crashed about rocky terrain and was seriously injured.
The eight -member group from the Czech Republic rose on Friday around 9 a.m. via the Wildezogel Scharte to the Baden Hütte at about 2600 meters above sea level. They wanted to spend the night there.
Due to the snowfall of the previous days and the changing weather conditions, the group only reached the WilvenbogelCharte around 4 p.m. “Because some participants in the group were already very exhausted at the moment, they decided to turn around,” the police say.
Wife fell and destroyed
They therefore focused on the Matreier Tauernhaus. On the descent to around 2400 meters, a climb led the mountain climbers through steep and rocky terrain. A 26-year-old woman fell, fell several times and fell about 80 meters above the site used by Rock-Well.
With heli in clinic
She was seriously injured. The group then did the emergency call, descended to the woman and first aid provided. She was finally restored with the helicopter of the Emergency Medicine with the “Crash Rescue” and to the Tauernklinikum Zell am See.
The other seven members were in shock and were also physically affected. That is why they were flown into the valley by the police helicopter.
