In Austria, 10,345 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9:30 a.m. on Sunday). On the comparison day of the previous week, there were still 9,249 new cases. A person infected with the virus has died.
So far there are 4,609,834 positive test results in Austria. At 9:30 am, 18,931 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria, and 4,467,592 had recovered.
A total of 1,235 patients are currently being treated in the hospital. 77 of them are being cared for in the intensive care unit (minus 4 compared to the previous day). 1158 people are in the normal wards (plus 13 compared to the previous day).
