Mercedes-Benz management thanks staff for their “commitment to a hopeful future”

The management of the Mercedes plant in Vitoria-Gasteiz thanked the staff for their “dedication to a hopeful future” for this factory, in which the workers Majority approval of the new collective labor agreement.

The General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Emilio Titosaddressed the staff by means of a statement confirming that 57% of employees voted in favor of the new agreement and 43% against it, with a participation of 94.7%.

The management of the German multinational announced a possible investment of 1.2 billion in this factory to undertake a process of expansion and transformation, but made it conditional on social peace and the approval of the new agreement whose validity period extends 2021-2026 covers.
