Serious accident on Thursday in Ginzling in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz! A worker (45) was injured while working in the woods with a chainsaw. The victim has been hospitalized.
The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. The 45-year-old was engaged in forestry work in a forest in Ginzling. “He cut his left lower leg with a chainsaw,” the director said. Although the employee was wearing appropriate protective clothing, he was still injured in the incident.
Taken to hospital
Two colleagues and the victim’s son (21) provided first aid and started the rescue chain. After treatment by the emergency doctor, the 45-year-old was taken to the hospital in Schwaz.
