In the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Thursday), 8,079 new infections have been reported in Austria, a week ago there were 14,070 new cases. 17 other people infected with the virus died.
So far there are 4,724,622 positive test results in Austria. At 9:30 a.m., 19,068 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria, and 4,587,631 had recovered. There are currently 1,662 patients in hospital treatment, 98 of whom are in intensive care units.
