Domestic motorists can only dream of such fuel prices: from Tuesday it will again become cheaper to refuel in Croatia.
A liter of regular petrol costs the equivalent of 1.50 euros, diesel costs 1.62 euros.
The latest government decision will cut regulated fuel prices again: a liter of regular gasoline costs 11.30 kuna, the price of diesel 12.14 kuna, Croatian media reported Monday. The new prices will apply to all gas stations in Adrialand for a week.
Price ceiling is determined weekly
Converted to euros, a liter of normal petrol costs 10 cents less than before and diesel is 8 cents cheaper per litre. The Croatian government, which has intervened in the regulated prices in dealer margins and excise duties, sets the price cap every week due to rapid price movements in the world market.
